East Asian Languages & Cultures

Undergraduate Student Association

General meeting

About

The East Asian Languages & Cultures Undergraduate Student Association (EALCUSA) is an organization for students interested in the languages and cultures of East Asia. We hope to provide opportunities and spaces where students can practice language skills, engage in cultural exchange, and make new friends.

We welcome everyone studying Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and other East Asian languages and cultures to join! Speakers of all levels, native and non-native, welcome!

Luncheon attendees

Events

EALCUSA hosts a variety of social and professional events, including language exchanges, movie nights, and career panels. Our largest event at the end of every semester is Luncheon, where EALC students and teachers come together to share a meal and celebrate their hard work.

To learn about upcoming events, check out our Facebook group. Additionally, stay tuned for emails from your EALC teachers, classroom announcements, or updates to our CalLink page.
